They mean the seat runner is broken - I knew it was but did not realise it was an
MOT fail

Must be cheaper to get a new one, and safer ?
What needs doing on the X member ?

Here I am at Ikea forced by the bpwoman fuhrer and having to reply on my phone Sad

small hole in rear x-member near wheel carrier - probably going for a new rear 1/4 next year

I have seen this too, but how would you get the seat braces in as in the 110 there is a curve from the wheel arch on either side closest to the door frame ? Also, i would imagine by doing that you are altering the saftey issue from the original seats which may result in making it hard to insure...

By all means i like the idea and actually spoke to someone about it, but these are the questions they asked me that i couldn't answer.

After what happened with the g4 110 and the poor kids who lost their lives, I'd be a tad cautious.
However, there are ways of doing it, as long as the brackets are made sturdy enough, it depends on how cute the MoT man is........
