Not mine .... but repaired the poor screen washers on my Bro-in-law's DC .... piping split right where it pushes onto washer jets .................. bloody dash out jobbie, took us 2 hours! Rolling Eyes

Then opened and closed my rear door a few times .... just to 'experiance' the superior operation now it has a gas strut door stay, and admire my stainless floor trim Cool Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant.

800km joy ride through the south eastern tanami desert and warlpiri country.... from willowra, through yuendumu and out to nyrripi... then on to tilmouth via newhaven road...ending up in alice springs... very changable conditions with thunder storms scudding across the plains all day... sweet Very Happy

My Defender took me to work and back for the first time in 6 weeks, now it is new guise of a Td5, rather than a V8.

Crossing over to the Dark Side, using Black Magic. It's not as nice as a V8, but it will do! Cool

Just need the Border Collie now, to go with the agricultural clatter! Very Happy

BIG THANK YOU to LORRYMAN Thumbs Up

Thanks Brian, the seat covers you sent me are much nicer than I expected (although I never doubted for a minute you buy tat! Laughing ) VERY pleased with them, they are really heavy duty, I owe you and you must let me give you something for them Bow down . I wonder who made them, I might be able to match up a rear set eventually! Wonder if they are early LR Puma ones!

BIG Grin Very Happy

You are welcome Chris, enjoy them. If I remember correctly I think I got a company to make them for me? I will have a dig through my emails and invoices to see if I can find the company. But it was definitely not LR who supplied them as these covers are quality. Whistle Wink

PS: You need to pull the backrest cover down more tightly at the base as the cover sits flush with the seat. Thumbs Up

Thanks mate, will go and give them a tug Wink You had them made Shocked They did a great job. Don't worry about the maker Brian if these were £100 then I couldn't afford a rear set. I will probably save up for a rear set of Exmoor trim ones in black - should match OK Thumbs Up

Went to look at a very nice 1981 series 3, Irish registered originally, with diesel engine and only 54k on it
Very honest car, you do not see to many like it these days. To buy or not to buy that is the question.

Series 3's are very cheap to buy, you can get some lovely original low mileage ones for 3-4K Thumbs Up Most prefer the Series 2's because of the lights in the middle look, free road tax and better build quality of the earlier ones. I like em all though and of course the 3's have full synchro which is easier for some. Looks nice CR, make sure it's all sound and working. Top of the bulkhead is one of their weak points difficult to sort - and usual chassis, gearbox etc etc. good luck Thumbs Up
