80,000 per year, 240,000 in 3 years, your heading for a nice DC100 Dan Shocked Shocked Shocked I can see a rebuild of mechanicals coming on Wink

As soon as spares start to get scarce I'm going to start picking bits up for stock, gearbox, window frame, doors etc. The nice thing about a Defender is that you can whack almost any power plant into it even batteries Sad It's going to be on the road as long as I am anyway Wink

My old works van (Sprinter luton) was 2 years old and had 180,000 on the clock Shocked

Reckon I put about 80k on it in the year I drove for them. Always wondered what happens to vehicles like that, cos after 3 years the mechanicals would be scrap, but the body etc would barely be touched. Guess some get re-engined and others broken for parts?

20k since May I hope you are getting well paid for it as the deprecation will be savage with that mileage

I have done 18k km's since april and it seems like I only got it yesterday.
