Always been tempted by the DC front prop, but just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on the cost. Let us know what you think when you are up and running again.

It was costly but if something has to come off I always try to upgrade. I've lost a few front props in the past...

Can't wait to give it a go, will definitely report back. The drop arm conversion from Gwyn turned up today so that's Sunday sorted!

I can assure you that I would never allow a Defender of mine to get into that embarrassing state, that is Entreq's photo. Mine has a respectable coating of dirt, filth, and oil, and doesn't look anything like a show pony. My undershield is black on top (oil and crud) and grey underneath (crud).

I would be embarrassed and ashamed to have one that clean, I am quite shocked at the thought. I think I'd better lie down for a bit.

Mine also has an additional hole so that a hose can be attached to the sump fitting so I don't have to take the gaurd off every time I want to change the engine oil.
