They are a necessary evil when you have a roll cage fitted I am afraid. If only there was a front ARB that could be disengaged like the X-Deflex rear ARB... Coming to think about it I do recall Equipe making one but IIRC it was a gerzzzzzzillion pounds ![]() |

After the winter spent almost 5 hours washing, clay bar, wash, wax and top up everywhere with ACF-50. Doing the same before winter set in certainly paid off, as the painwork and underside hadn't really changed/got any worse so time well spent.
![]() Just need to clean the underside properly ready for an annual top up of Lanoguard but need a few dry/warm days forecast for that. Major issues with the roof though, a lot of the top coat on the top of the roof is de-laminating and looks a right mess. Just a good job I can't usually see it. Not sure what to do about that, don't really have the funds for a respray. I do have a back-up plan but not sure it will be to everyone's cup of tea ![]() |

Dropped my back door off to get painted along with a set of door hinges and read door hinges.
Hopefully I can get the install of the door progressed and done! 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

Got the landy back from the paint man, now with a repainted rear end and new back door.
Door & glass fitted and rear lights back on. Wiper refitted and spare wheel carrier. Still need to refit the door card. 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |
