They look good. I am conscious of not having any additions above the cargobear panel height so full lengths of timber do not catch so will likely invert the purchasable light brackets and effectively hang a light bar from them.

I also fitted my patriot ladder today which is okay, fairly simple fit.

I think Suparcat is referring to this. Re obstruction of full rear number plate when a ladder is fitted.

That’s an old MOT.

Also as suggested its down to the testers interpretation of ‘obscured’. There is no further guidance or specifics as to what is considered obscured. If you wanted to be extreme, at certain angles the spare wheel obscures the plate...

I'm not sure what the age of the MOT has to do with it when the standard, vehicle and ladder are all the same now as they were then.

Maybe read the thread or post a photo of your vehicle from this, very less than extreme angle and not see the issue?

I cannot conceive of any interpretation of the law or MOT manual which would make that ladder acceptable. Frankly it baffles me that anyone would think that it is legal!

Was collected by the body shop to get the windscreen frame and bulkhead looked at. Left me a courtesy car, but had to have a chuckle to myself when I looked at the paperwork
