It's one of the new Single DIN (4 x 50w) with a 10.25" screen running Android that are popping up everywhere. I'll do a write up if there is demand for it, still working everything out since it's Chinese and a bit unrefined.. DAB radio requires a DAB stick, but the connector is different etc...

Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Had a day out with all things with a green oval badge today. It was the third Norfolk Fire and Rescue Services Charity Land Rover Run in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity. We started at Pensthorpe Nature Park near Fakenham. Travelled through to the Muckleburgh Collection where 50 lucky Land Rovers got the chance to go round the tank drive. Next stop was Creake Abbey for a spot of lunch and finally we had a bit of a drive round the Holkham Estate before parking up on the grass in front of the Hall for a photo shoot (the kind of thing you would usually get shouted at for doing!) and to draw the raffle. There were at least 170 Land Rover badged vehicles in attendance. When all the trucks got to Holkham, there seemed a lot more than that. Many thanks to all who organise this every year and to all the many who helped and or sponsored the event. It’s a great way to spend a Sunday |

It’s a good day out. I have done all three. First two started from Sandringham. This year we were made to feel very welcome with complimentary hot drinks from Pensthorpe Natural Park. They were doing a roaring trade on Bacon Rolls. Sorry to anyone who was trying an early visit to the Park this morning. Waiting for 170 odd Land Rovers to pass on the narrow access road must have been very tedious I will try and endeavour to put a post on here next year when they start enrolment |

There were a couple of Series 1's and quite a few Series 2's and 3's. The organiser has a lovely Series 3.
But the whole run is very relaxed as anything with a green oval badge is allowed. I was chatting to the organisers at Holkham. There were LR's from Yorkshire, the south coast and of course, all over the east of england here today. Looks like it will happen again next year. Everyone was very positive and seemed like they had a good time. The official count for registered vehicles was 170 I think, but there were probably at least 200 (I counted the front row of parked trucks then multiplied it by the number of rows). |
