Had a change of plans this weekend, so took advantage of the good weather and trundled down to collect floor mats from L90Andy. Nice to meet him and see his 90 in the flesh

Lots of shiny Defenders.
Mine had a good wash and T-Cut after all the salt on the roads. Even had a belly wash. One happy looking Defender! 🖤 The Duchess 🖤 Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Regards Adam Loving The Duchess The Defender 110 TD5 XS My Defender story - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic64005.html |

So in looking for the cause of the fault with loss of drive we found that it was a broken outer drove flange on the FOS wheel.
At first it looked like that had fixed it, but sadly the vibration and clanking was still present. Wirh her up on the four poster ramp, it was clear to see the rear prop had bust a UJ, and was about to fall off any time. So we bit the bullet and ordered these bad boys, which we hope to fit later today. If you’ve never seen any of these, they are massive! And bloody heavy too! Nice morning spent taking the centre dash out and fighting with the window washer jet, only to find out that I’d ordered the wrong replacement. Need the one with a ‘long’ thread to fit through the double layer bulkhead. I did try to remove the jet end to transfer to the original threaded part, but managed to break it in the process

Went to see a mate's 110 military v8 ambulance today, that he's converting to a camper. He's currently building a race spec 4.6 v8 for it, after his life got sucked away following a mate who has a tdi 110 camper!!
Stopped for a photo at a nice pad. The groundskeeper waved in approval. |
