A couple of months ago Mrs Whirly decided she wanted a new car, as it’s a 4th car and does very little mileage just running around town she decided she wanted something ‘different’. After a 450 mile round trip to north Wales we came back with this.

Checked/topped up
Front diff oil Rear diff oil Transfer case Checked engine oil Replaced winch wire with a longer winch wire, around 75ft Was planning on adjusting the heating to see if I can get more heat out of the heater. The heater flap on the heater housing matrix appears to be at max opening. I did wonder if max opening is too far and actually reduces heat output. 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

Spent the day playing about in mud with young son at Slindon pay and play. decent crowd down there and no nutters about.
Then a good hour spent at home blasting away with the jet wash. Great fun...about a year since I was last down there. |

Emptied the sump of the excess diesel that's found its way in there over the week
New injector seals and washers tomorrow but I've got a horrible feeling that it's a little more of an expensive fix than that |
