Dinitrol/Stone chipped the rear 1/4 chassis on the 110
Had a slight Dinitrol incident with the Shultz style cans.. turns out that with the spray tube on the gun being slightly blocked caused a build up of pressure in the can....But....I hadnt screwed the gun on properly and ended up with around 1/2 the can all over me. Luckily, just my T-shirt and work trousers...Even more luckily for me, I had put down an old tarp on the floor....just as well.! Still managed to do the job on both sides. While under the car, I checked the rear pads, not low low but about 1/2 way worn. Checked the rear discs and down to about 10/11mm thick. (thats with the lip on the disc) Spotted a split in the fuel breather pipe. 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

They are noisier but they're going to be unfortunately. Doesn't bother me, can't hear it over the radio anyway. |
