Did a dump run used the Ifor trailer (no mess in my truck), got there and was asked for a permit .. WTF !
I managed to sweet talk out of it but here's a thought .. Wiltshire council want name, address, make, model, VIN, reg no of vehicle .. so you can prove you are not commercial business, what happens to this Information, is it stored in an encrypted database or in excel on a laptop ? What happens when this data is compromised? Someone will get a nice list of cars/ trucks .. I'm not going to run the risk It's worth thinking about your personal information and the risks of sharing |

Ww went to the local classic car show on Tuesday evening and met loads of old friends rather unexpectedly. Had a wonderful time nattering and gawping cars on display - including quite a few Land Rovers of course.
And today - after much pondering about the pro's and con's - bought a dash-cam and fitted it neatly, hiding it behind the rear view mirror and tucking the cabling away so it's all hidden. Dave Green Goddess - 1998 Defender 110 300tdi |

I had the same request from the council guy, but unless the form changed, you don't need to fill in VIN, reg. no, etc, because it's only a trailer and not a van. TBH it's only Wiltshire bringing itself up to date. Hampshire has had it for at least 5 years. It's been in place for over a year now in Wilts. |
