Changed the half shafts and driven flanges on my 110.
New gaskets, flanges, half shafts, bolts and rubber caps. No longer goes clunk clunk when moving up gears, and also no more low speed kangaroo diesel when going over a wee bump or turning a corner in wrong gear Am a happy bunny |

Saturday gave the 110 a wash and cleaned the alloys which where thick with brake dust, the wheels are now shiney again. Must get some decent alloy wheel cleaner.
Sunday went to the Gareth Hall Rally at the Ranges in Trawsfnydd. A quiet day with just two recoveries to do. Mk2 Escort which needed a front suspended lift and another car that needed just a straight tow. 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

Hot soapy water is best mate!
Alloy wheel (acid) cleaners gradually eat into the protective coatings on the alloy and after a while it make it increasingly harder to get them clean YOLO... You Only Live Once... |

If using Autoglym wheel seal make sure you do not spray any of it onto your brakes...same goes for any other make Personally I find Meguiars Car Alloy Wheel Brake Dust Barrier Spray Sealant to be a better product than Autoglym's. Though if you want the best and can find it then use Collinite Insulator Wax brilliant stuff.
