Fantastic photos. I was going to ask if it was Stellenbosch, then I noticed your location. Fantastic place, and the only Red Wine I drink! Craig Rogers

Good tip thanks! I see that there are 3 products on their site - ACF-50, Corrosion Block, and Corrosion Block Grease - do folks generally just stick with the ACF stuff? |

Hi Andy
Have a look here, gives a bit more info about ACF http://www.acf-50.co.uk/motorcycle.htm Corrosion block appears to be for uncounted internal metal structures: http://www.acf-50.co.uk/corrosion_block.htm And there's a Kiwi product called Lanoguard but I personally don't have any experience with it: http://www.lanoguard.co.nz/products.html Cheers John 2014 110 2.2TDCi XS Station wagon 1971 Bowler Tomcat 88 4.2 V8 Auto 2022 110 D250 XS Edition - Gone 2024 110 D250 X-Dynamic HSE |

Sold the Series III this week to add some cash to the JEE fund.
Reduced the price to keep the wolfs and XZL's and fitted those to the 'Heritage' pick up (used our stainless wheelnuts) Finally got round to wiring up the rear camera on the red 90 |

Popped to local Aldi (NOT my fave shopping experience!) and came home with a stack of security devices courtesy of their SpecialBuys...

Washed the old fella and put a liberal coating of ACF50 on anything that will corrode on the new one....
Hopefully that will keep the rust wolf from the door for a while! |

Had a cracking party last night so this morning activities were nice and gentle and slow and quiet.
Fitted an aux fuse box in the battery compartment Click image to enlarge Bit of a modification to the holder. Click image to enlarge Nice countersunk SS Bolts I was going to wire it up but by this point it was 3 in the afternoon and I could have run a V8 on my breath so decided to go indoors and drink lots of tea next to the fire Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197 Self confessed mileage hunter |
