Gotta agree with. Diesel on the road is potentially lethal for a Biker. I just hope no one got hurt.

Yep - lost a pal when he piled his bike into a wall on a slightly wet road (maybe with a touch of fuel on), about 18 years ago - never riden myself, but slid cars PLENTY times on spilt fuel. No excuse. 2001 TD5 110 DCPU in Bonatti Grey |

Diesel leaking or poorly fitted or temporary fuel caps now gets an instant prohibition from continuing, i think it is called a GV9 and VOSA are hot on it. On an annual HGV test its the first thing they check and i once seen a truck fail due to the rubber seal being missing on the locking cap which cost the owner a 300 mile round trip and a ferry crossing to re-test.. and quite right too. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Mike you should know the definition of a Yorkshireman! A Yorkshireman is a scotsman with all his genouriosity squeezed out of him. I am NOT a Yorkshireman, despite living here for 40 years! Was impressed with J-Lo. Would have liked time to have a better look at it. Brendan |

Found a way of knowing your car spends too much time at the garage... a LR technician said hiya to me to me at the petrol station!
Unless he was just super friendly........ |
