Hi MSE,
Same experience as you. Since re-map I can hear every knock, clunk and whine and am becoming paranoic. In addition I have just replaced the wheels for a new set of boost alloys with Grabber 235x85x16. I think I will resort to a pair of ear defenders, it has the added advantage that I can no longer hear the wife nagging me as to why I traded in my Merc ML270. Willie Defender Virgin |

Hi mse
The only clunk i get is when changing up a gear and only when im not quite going fast enough for the next gear, usually going into sixth. Otherwise mines clunk free. I have got the rear diff whine when decelerating from above 80kmph. If it annoys you often enough take it to the dealer. 130 crew cab 98 V8 Disco |

I have a slight clunk on take up and a whine at motorway speeds.
It being quieter im certainly noticing more, if the whine was there i hadnt heard it before...the clunk i think may have happened before; the new clutch and selector removed most to all the noises...but this update certainly makes more noticable! Mike |

Every Land Rover I have owned (nine to date) has had a clunk on power take up, the older and more worn it was the louder the clunk
I have therefore assumed it was normal MAD COW 2007 90 Hard Top - 2009 BMW F800GS - 2002 CCM 604E Dual Sport Project90 |
