I had one years ago from a company now gone bust. the hilift bracket fitted in the middle of the spare wheel.
total waste of time... I backed into something and bend the shaft of the jack, and it got covered in road dirt and got very rusty. IMO hilifts shouls be kept inside. |

WVA Holdings/Safari Equip sell them, although it does mean that it is likely to get covered in muck from driving, although salt might not be such an issue for you than it is here. Mark S

There's a type where the jack is next to the wheel and it's that one I'm searching.
Salt is the same issue here but I'll only be carrying the jack when greenlaning. It's this type: http://www.lrsshop.co.uk/content/defender-...jack-mount. Now, if only I knew the brand I could look for a local dealer... |

That's the Safari Equip one.
I have a brand new one sat in the store room that is going up for sale soon but it would probably cost a fortune to ship to Belgium. It was going on my 2001 (2002MY) TD5. For some unexplained reason the post 2002 version, which I needed, will not fit my vehicle. I tried the pre 2002 version as well and that would not fit either. So I changed plans and the post 2002 version will be sold on. Then of course it was stated on the description: you only have pre and post 2002, no 2002, that's probably why

OK, it is a Sunday night, have had a glass of wine so have guesstimate various sizes.
So as long as zone30 does not live in a remote area of Belgium carriage looks like it will be about £25 including UK VAT. Price would depend on actual finish required, i.e. standard powder coated, galvanised or galvanised and powder coated, age of vehicle etc Zone30 if you are VAT registered we can supply items excluding UK VAT as long as we get a valid VAT number (which Barbara will check) Brendan |

You mean this one;
Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge This was originally bought from Scorpion racing, whom had them made by WVA Holdings who later became Safari Equip - http://www.safari-equip.co.uk/index.php?page=6 This wheel carrier is on its second Defender and I have just had it shot blasted and re-powder coated. The carrier is very strong and works well. As for the jack getting dirty, that is true it does, however you can counter that by using the Hi-lift jack bag or the smaller neoprene bootie. Besides most jacks are filthy even when kept inside the land rover and if you buy a set of those fancy Entreq bonnet hinges the jack will still get covered in road grime. Plus after it has been used and is very dirty I would prefer it to be outside the vehicle... Each to their own I guess...
