A snorkel means drilling, so I would not do it. alloy/silver side grills and bonnet vents, well on an SVX you might regret it. Better to keep the looks high end. You can see below what I have installed on my SVX (a 110 that is), but first thing on my list was the OE soft "A bar" which really enhances the silver coloured grill a lot. If I had to redo it again, my nbr 2 on the list would still be a Alive Tuning NA spec bumper with DRL. Absolute top quality and nice on an SVX with a soft A bar. As to bonnet vents, go for an Entreq black snow cover and a blanket plate on the other side, again absolute top quality. And get that rear cross member painted glossy black asap, looks great and avoids that it will start to look dullish which regretfully all too often a reality. Most important,.... Have fun with all this You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

like Ericvv says, a RAI requires drilling the wing, having said that a genuine LR RAI might be a nice permanent addition.
Stainless vents etc have a look at the sponsors listed above, entreq probably do something and there are suppliers in the UK holding their stock (Leeds) Another option to bling the SVX might be to change the wheels and tyres and keep the genuine ones to put it back to original. |
