Used everyday so far, but use other cars as well - the Labrador loves it

My daily driver after my Vauxhall Zafira decided it would rather site on the driveway.
Costing a bomb but I always preferred to drive the landy to work. It's a lot cooler. Especially in winter, when it's bloody freezing! 1998 110 300Tdi White Hard Top |

I wish I could afford to run mine everyday. Just had it MOT'd a week ago and managed an embarrassing 1500 miles this year!

Yes, 40000kms (approx 25000 miles) per year.
Have an FL2 too but haven't driven 100kms since I got the Def. Love it too bits. |

I'd love to drive mine everyday if I had to but need the van for work and shmbo has her a3, it does everything I ask it by being a family car, tow car for the caravan and trailer and even covered for my work van when it was out of action, truly universal

Yes .. every day. 120 mile round trip commute to work. Previously had a very dull Mercedes E320 CDI Estate for the job (yawn).

It depends. If I am at home I use my 90. If I work within The Netherlands I most off the time use my 90. Outside The Netherlands I use my Disco 3 or I fly.
I like my 90 but for a drive to Poland or Chech republic I prefer my disco3. Roel 1984 90 2.5 na Diesel - RR V8 (1994-2001) 1997 Camel Trophy Discovery 300TDI (2001-2009) 2005 G4 Discovery III 4.4 V8 (2008-2018) It's gone but it still hurts. 2003 90 Td5 (2009-now) |

Yes daily drive, out at the weekends for fun.
Use the D3 for any distance though. DRW I built a garage for my Mini With a place for everything and everthing in its place. Ten years down the line there's a Mini in there somewhere, and all's where it should be!!!! Ho hum |

Roel, thinking of fuel consumption I think I'd still prefer a Defender for a long trip.

Like the previous poster, it puts a smile on my face every time I get in, and the Defender is fairly comfortable compared to my old series 3!
