Had mine as my daily drive for over 10 years. I sometimes drive our P38 Rangie to work, and although it is warmer, comfier, sounds much better, more power, etc, I still really miss my Defender on those days! Our blog - http://landytravels.com/

I use the Defender daily, and the mrs uses the Freelander every day. Both very happy with it. Cheers, Vincent

February 2008, I didn't have a Defender yet. But I can now report I got myself a 130 as a daily driver. Just had its first service and I really like it! Thinking of it, with just 7 posts I guess Layla17 already left the building long time ago? |

My wife use the Defender as a daily driver (30 miles per day).
I work at 45 min walking from my house (a luxury here in Santiago) so, I use to walk and a 2nd car is not needed . Cheers! Eduardo MY 2007 110 SW PUMA 2.4: Big Fog of 64' MY 1994 Jayco 1207 Folding camper: "El Tremendo" Click image to enlarge |

Ha, indeed - then it was Generaldej who picked up this thread after 5 years Wonder how a thread suddenly becomes active again after such a long time... See it happen more sometimes on other forums too. Same as Steve [BP] . job motor during the week, but days off/weekends and the 90 is my plaything Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant.

Daily driver, oh yes in fact any chance I get I take the DEFENDER. Why slum it in something inferior! You only have one life, live it....forget the cost.
