It is regardless how far i press the throttle. Only after 15-20 secs of driving, the engine regains power.

Interesting to note:
- The rev's is not the problem when pushing the throttle, it is the power, the torque lacking.
- after a cold start, power and torque are suddenly back to normal after 15-20 sec
- when, after it regains power, i stop the engine and restart again, the engine needs again 5-10 seconds to regain power
- the rest of the day no problems anymore.
- disconnecting the MAF sensor does not have any effect
- When releasing the clutch the engine stalls easily.

I just discovered that the turbo's wast gate is stuck. At least I couldn't really shift it (yet) with a pair of pliers. So, will be my next item I will focus on.

An update:

I think the waste gate wasn't sticky after all, you just need a bit of force to shift it.

And the problem still remains. back to square 1. Big Cry

Mine has a similar problem. When it runs good, its great. When it doesn't there's no boost until much higher Revs. I've now Changed the maf, injector loom and fpr (because it was pouring out fuel!) And it still seems to be an issue. I need to re clean the ECU plug and drive it for a while before I can say for sure though.

Could be a fuel pump issue. Have you changed filter

I have cleaned the map sensor recently as well, could still be faulty though. I had a look through the records that came with the car, not sure when it was last serviced! Next stop, full oil and filters change!

Wiring to the airflow meter is knackered I expect. Check it especially where it runs round the front of the head. Tends to go a bit crispy there and starts rubbing through.
