An update:
I think the waste gate wasn't sticky after all, you just need a bit of force to shift it. And the problem still remains. back to square 1. KR Rob |

Mine has a similar problem. When it runs good, its great. When it doesn't there's no boost until much higher Revs. I've now Changed the maf, injector loom and fpr (because it was pouring out fuel!) And it still seems to be an issue. I need to re clean the ECU plug and drive it for a while before I can say for sure though.

Could be a fuel pump issue. Have you changed filter

had similar issue with mine pull away no power wait then away you go.after buying hawkeye found it was the map sensor the temp part was reading fine then no power the temp jumped to 136 degrees after 15-20 seconds dropped back to normal and power back to normal not a problem since map sensorchanged

I have cleaned the map sensor recently as well, could still be faulty though. I had a look through the records that came with the car, not sure when it was last serviced! Next stop, full oil and filters change!

Wiring to the airflow meter is knackered I expect. Check it especially where it runs round the front of the head. Tends to go a bit crispy there and starts rubbing through.
