MAF sensor is attached to the hose leading from the big square air box up near the bulkhead.
It has a cable going to it. You will need a small screw driver to prise the thin silver metal clip out of the plug before you can pull it off |

Easy to find. locate the airbox at the back of the engine. Then looking from the front you will see a large pipe coming from the box on the RH side. Near the airbox there will be a plug on the top of the pipe. If you just want to disconnect the MAF then pull this plug out. To remove the MAF you will need to undo the jubilee clip to part the pipe. OK here is the latest.....Looks like my EGR is in circuit, so not blanked off, found the MAF and have disconnected it for now, do i also have a MAP sensor to check ?.......edit....found it http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f67/removing...98286.html

The MAP sensor is the black oval plastic (held on with two Allen bolts) just bulkhead side of the EGR valve... I used compressed air, but electrical contact cleaner also works if you've got it.

You can clean your MAF with carb cleaner too just make sure its good and dry before restarting the engine. 2005 Td5 90 XS

WOW.......cleaned MAP and MAF with carb cleaner......BIG difference...the MAP sensor was really cruddy.......looks like i still have the EGR in place, so blanking kit ordered from irb
