Good advice indeed. My Defender is fully marked up with ISG/Retaingroup UV markings on all glass and all body/major componenents.
If everyone marked up their Landrovers fully and then were diligent when buying s/h parts or vehicles to check for signs of markings or markings having been removed then we would have far less thefts in the first place. No market for stolen parts/vehicles = no thefts. |

You have managed to get me worried now!
Any body know where I can get a kit of security bolts for the doors and bonnet? All my searches so far have only come up with Allen bolts and not security type ones - I'm sure everyone is aware that a whole range of bolt lengths are needed for all the doors ( 5 door in my case) and the bonnet Cheers |

Just found Stigma Fastners http://www.a2stainless.co.uk/5-door-Defend...B25ZS.aspx
Which do torex kits. Does anyone know what the bonnet hinges are made from ( steel?) if so could they be tapped to M10 and bolts put in from underneath? |
