Whilst I agree with you in principle and have used the pry bar extensively in the past if you do not push the pistons back in true you can distort/damage the piston seals, especially so if the pistons are corroded. What the tool does is retract the pistons properly without the chance of damage. It also pushes opposite pistons back in together at the same time so no chance of a piston being pushed out. Like I said for the sake of £15 it is a great tool to have in your kit. |
