how do i know???
Hi all, sorry to seem a tad dim, how do i know if my 2009 90 has anti-stall?

Put it in lo box first, and take your feet off everything on a decent upslope, you'll see the revs rise from tickover to 1100 Original Member Pie n Pea Club.

As Willie said.

You don't need an upslope. Just put it in 1st low and let the clutch come up you see the rpm rising from about 800 rpm to 1000-1100 rpm. Do not use the Throttle.
Now do the same in 2nd low and you will see the rpm stay at about 800 rpm.

To make it more clear try to use the brake to slow the defender down in both gears. In second gear the rpm come easily down and stall the engine.
In first gear you really have to push hard on the brake and probably you don't see the rpm going down. In fact you can stall the engine using the brakes but you have to brake very hard and I won't reccomend it as you put a lot off strain through the drivetrain.
Better test this in a demonstration Defender. Whistle I doubt if LRDE will allow you to do it. Roel
