Best mpg 23 ?
The best mpg I get in my td5 90 is 23miles and that's motorway driving at 55 mph, does this sound crap cos I think it's pretty poor what are your thoughts?
2" lift kit
Rock sliders
Snorkel
Discoverer STT 265 mud terrain tyres
Apart from listed just a standard 90 hard top un chipped
What's everyone's thoughts on this?
Just changed all filters and oil as well
Cheers

My TD5 is a csw, about the same spec as yours apart from the lift, same tyres.

I reckon I am getting about 27 mpg - 58K on the clock.

Cheers for replies
I'm driving really steady no thrashing and no reving through gears just steady away, might try thrashing it and see what the difference is.
My 90 has 128,500 on clock now and I've owned it for over 4years also I've removed egr

air filter cleaned?

tyre size correct for speedo?

not towing?

seems very low to me

my 105k td5 90 was doing 28-32mpg but it did have a remap.

at 55mph i would of thought high 20s from my experience. Cheers

Check tyre pressures also. Low pressures bring MPG down. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️

See below only three tankful's so far. GGAT2's. K+N air filter, 154,000 mls, most A+B roads <60mph, economically driven ( I think )

I got 28 psi in the fronts and 40 psi in the rear. I'm trying different fuel brand fill ups to see which gives the best MPG, Fuelly records this nicely. My mileage is pretty routine, commute 20 miles a day, town and country driving at weekends.
