Doesn't a 10AS box have to be 'matched' to the ECU? That is to say you can't just chop and change, you have to program one to match the other.

The programming is easy. Takes about 5 min to copy file, reload and sync fobs. Takes longer to unbolt 10AS.

A new or known working AS10 will need to be learned. The process for the Puma is called DDS learn and can take up to 30 mins to complete. Then a relearn of all key fobs will need to be done before they can be used.
DDS learn procedure, enable DDS learn in diagnostic tool, remove diagnostic tool from OBDII socket and switch on ignition, the immobilizer light (IPAC) will flash rapidly during the learning process, once the learning process and synchronisation is completed the immobilizer light will stop flashing and the horn will sound briefly. Job done. |
