No, we took the fastest route, via Gin Gin, as it was a last minute Sunday afternoon decision. Definitely lucky to be living here - looking forward to doing Monkey Mia, Shark Bay, Coral Bay, Karijini and Broome next autumn!

So two months on are you enjoying yours? Any issues?

Cheers,

Saludos MK,

Thanks. No dust, although the trail is a popular tourist spot so the roads are pretty civilised - I'll get the 110 dirty one day!

Are you based in Santiago? I would imagine Chilean georgraphy would be fairly similar to Australian or South African conditions (dry and dusty), although your extensive mountains must create some interesting weather (I've seen Eduardo's rain pics).

Rick,

I was soo jelous last week when my brother went there and had a few pictures of him and his Toyo....(I won't swear on the forum). Now after seeing your fender there I just want to go myself. It is looking like I will have to get on a plane and visit him over Christmas

Glyn

P.S. The motor looks sweet.

ABSOLUTELY LOVING IT No issues at all the best 4WD We have owned, It's just effortlessly tows the boat through very soft sand, crawls up mountains and briskly nips around town what more can you want in a car, We are also hoping to get up north next year Ningaloo,Broome,Bunglebungles, I am still keeping my eye out for you hope to see you around in the near future....

Yes, I´m based in Stgo, although due to my job I`ve been along all Chile looking for gold and copper. We have a very dry north and very wet south.
