Today, a heavy storm affected Santiago. We went to the mountains to seek some snow. Unfortunately the 0 isotherm was quite high: that means a LOT of water comming down from the creeks to the Maipo River and obviously some floods and landslides.

Yep, Leaks in the passenger side This is an unsolved issue from new. Really was not a big storm (2 inches), the problem was that were raining were its supossed to be snowing, so all the accumulated snow melt producing floods everywere in the mountains. Unfortunately 3 persons died due a mudslide near Santiago. Cheers Eduardo MY 2007 110 SW PUMA 2.4: Big Fog of 64' MY 1994 Jayco 1207 Folding camper: "El Tremendo" Click image to enlarge |
