Hope someone can put my mind at rest.
Just doing a few jobs prior to fitting a Boomslang or similar loom. Noticed that there is a wire running from the offside headlight to a relay under the dash. This appears to be the fog light relay which works as it should. Is this the normal feed for the fog or a later bodge? If I fit the new loom will I be able to splice this wire to the new H4 connector without any problems? Many thanks for any replies. Cheers Chris 300tdi Defender 90 |

Thanks for that,
I thought that the loom replaces the feed to both lights after being connected to the nearside light so I would be removing the feed to the fog light and would have to replace it. Cheers Chris 300tdi Defender 90 |

the new loom will feed both headlights , so standard wiring is only used as switching feed to new loom ( but all old loom still stays live so will still switch whatever is connected to it )
normally the nearside is used to switch new loom , and if offside loom switches fog relay it will still do that even if disconnected from headlight |
