Hi geobloke,
I've had those on my 90 for the past 5 months after having some poor results from some similar ones bought on eBay ( they lost LEDs over a few weeks. However the Amazon ones have stood the test of time and have not lost any LEDs. Very bright and very useful. If I fitted those aforementioned LEDS to my TD5, the soft start function wouldn't work, would it ?

If you mean the gradual brightening and darkening then yes they do work, but are a bit steppy rather than a smooth act. |

Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge 38mm Do indeed fit but from fitting I think standard is 36mm bulbs. As the pins need slightly adjusting to take a 38mm. 0.1w draw 11w output on these. Standard bulbs are 10w draw and output. Is a bit darker being red but I prefer that than being lit up white like a football ground at night and it's much softer on the eyes. Also don't have the worry of leaving doors open and battery drain now. as basically as I do that a lot before I had them pretty much off all the time. Now with these they are on when the doors open. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |

How does that work then? If they were 0.1A consumption (assuming 0.1W is a typo), that would equate to 1.2W. If they were 11W that would be 0.9A? Changing them for red ones must alter the laws of physics. Pete |

dgardel -
XS Pete - That was what I thought I read somewhere but I'm probably wrong then. (on hindsight can't remember where either) My mistake. They are these: http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/272-LED-F...lours.html Two reviews on them both 5star. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |

Ok I understand now. Their description says <1W which makes much more sense. To have been 11W they'd have needed a couple of 5W Crees in and then you'd have to drive about wearing welding goggles.

"Designed with the latest LED technology the 272 will help to improve longer life up to 50,000 hours, improve durability and require less power consumption at less than 1W!! "
That was where I read it. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |

GUM - Cheers. Will try and take a photo tonight if I don't get frozen in the process. Being red it is obviously darker than standard but what I am impressed with with these is that they give a good light spread and not directional like some of the rubbish led versions. £5 each too so not cheap but good value for the quality. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Best photo I can come up with is this. Camera is only a phone one and seems to hate the light levels and colour so makes it look MUCH darker than what it really is. (you'll have to take my word for it)
