Auto bulbs direct sell them, although they are available (a bit cheaper) on the bay, but personally I would shy away from cheap bulbs on eBay Rolling Eyes LINK HERE

Actually, I've just learnt to read properly before posting Embarassed Those are 24v, not 12v Embarassed

There are some on the bay, from a company that I've dealt with before, and tbh that may be your best bet! But stay well clear of cheap Chinese imports, as they are not always top quality Rolling Eyes LINK HERE  An engine to TDi for!

Make sure you measure the existing ones first. There is 36/38 or 40mm Festoons. IIRC I went with 38mm ones. 1999 Defender TD5 110

To the OP -What's the attraction of red anyway? Would it not be a bit harder to see in the dark with red bulbs ? An engine to TDi for!

Red light does not disturb your night vision. In marine applications always red light is used in interior lights. Cheers, Vincent

I have just bought 2x of these from Amazon at <£3 each

Massively bright (am happy to take a photo if you like) and will fit any festoon fitting.
