They may have the original code for you if not they'll probably re-set it for you. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

If its the originally fitted CD player then yes, the dealer can look up (there's usually a charge depending on the dealer) but if its been changed then will be more difficult. Mark S

Just in case you haven't found it in the manual:
It worked for me - maybe you have an incorrect code? Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's) |

Can't remember exactly how I did it but according to my handbook, you input the code with buttons 1-4 in order, then press RND (which is also button 3) again. Not 5. It's not exactly obvious but I'm pretty sure that's what I did. It may differ between models and year.
You have to wait an hour after a 3rd failed attempt. Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... Last edited by ZeDefender on 29th Dec 2012 5:17pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Perhaps your entering it the wrong way. say you have code of 4556
Press 1 4x times press 2 5x times press 3 5x times press 4 6x times Then usually there is a final key (probably 5) to set it. Check the manual for details though... I've known an OE radio for another vehicle (Renault) that worked in this way/ $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

Just in case it gets lost, on mine (with the aux in at the front) it's not 5 to finish but button 3 again... Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
