I've only ever seen one or two converted that way and always assumed they were DIY rather than Special Vehicles Darren

hmmm, might be a trip to the stealer to make an enquiry then. I found a LRSV's downloadable catalogue on the net for 2007 (UK) and they seemed to offer a huge array of alterations to all 3 chasis lengths together with a massive selection of options from full roll cages to flashing beacons!

If Land Rover can't do it then I'm sure another company could. Foleys perhaps? Darren

Aye, I've got Foleys details here. Will give them a buzz in the new year if no joy

Isn't that just for the 110 regular pick-up though, Dan? Martyn's talking about a shortened version of that on a 110 double cab. Darren

The type of body is after market. I believe Nene have one on their website currently.
You would need a 110 double cab chassis cab which isnt avilable from LRSV. |

Not the best photo and ignore the camper bit, I think this is the sort of body you are thinking of?

Here's what I'm on about;
http://www.flickr.com/photos/sam4605/4107728594/in/photostream/ It's a 110 and that looks like a LR jobby to me. Looks better than the Nene attempt; which looks like its been "plonked on" |

That's a local market conversion, I think to get round a tax issue based on load space. Note the high level brake light as well.
Sadly definitely not a uk sv option |

Go look on aulro.com in Australia they have them all the time, think they call them traybacks which is a flat platform on the back but im sure ive seen a HCPU body on the back of a 110 over there.
