Why dont you put the wipac crystals on. Plastic lens, better than the standard headlights. Put nightbreaker bulbs in and your sorted
![]() Whilst you're there you could fit stainless steel bezels as well. |

Hi,
Are these a direct swap over, or is there any rewiring to do? Cheers all. |

Easy direct swap - but as suggested above rusty bezels (the ring that holds the light unit to the headlamp bowl) can be a problem.
This is a good guide https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/headlight-renewal.130728/ ![]() |

If you change the bezels to SS get the SS fixing kit too.

The standard wipac ones are cheap, they fitted the same ones (with a side light) on the mini, In 20 years and just shy of 100'000 miles I've only broken one on my mini.
I think you're just unlucky to break one. |

I've had six Defenders without a windscreen or headlight needing replacing,
Number 7 and although my favourite it will of had both. Lucky Defender parts are cheap to replace π |

New headlight on and stainless surrounds fitted
I must say I prefer black surrounds so might get another set and get them painted. |
