Want to replace mine with one that is higher for a better armrest, bigger for more stuff and lockable. Is there a make which stands out above the rest?

We offer our fcxRADIOBOX which is on Special offer to forum members at the moment.
We can also cover the lid in our leather and add as much padding as you want. ![]() Click image to enlarge If the radio section is not required and you can wait a couple of weeks, we are about to launch our standard cubby box that has exactly the same shape / profile but comes without the opening radio section. Lastly, in the New Year we will have our fcxRadioSwitchbox with an additional switch panel available ... www.FCX.ME.uk Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated ![]() |

I've always been very pleased with the ones from Mobile Storage and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
In the current 110 I've retained the original but fitted a lockable safe under it. John http://www.hampshire4x4response.co.uk 2011 Tdci 110 CSW XS |

Can't be arsed with all that. I'm a prop maker by trade and I like to leave all the work behind when I can I'm ashamed to say.

Mine:
![]() Click image to enlarge I didn't retain the cup holders on mine because I never used them. All I need now is a seal between the cubby and the lid and two types of clamp each side to hold it down secure so it's air tight for the sub. Inside it's all black carpeted. ![]() Basically though you would put anything into the front face of it you wanted. TheThunder Rollsπ¬π§πΊπΈ β½οΈπ’οΈβοΈπ§°πͺ |

Thud, consider carefully what you want from that space between the seats.
Lots of possibilities out there, just be careful that any box you buy is compatible with the Puma. Some are too long especially with the drink holder and can interfere with the hi low gear lever. A lot of these boxes require drilling the panel underneath. Only one company I am aware of does a fixture so no drilling is required. Ditto only one company does two height of pads, so try and work out the height you require for the pad. Nakatanenga does a under cubby box security box. One of our customers uses this security box to transport legal class A drugs for medical purposes. GMB does a similiar box but for putting lots of electric bits in and has a twin voltage display if running two batteries. So decide exactly what you want, height, ease of fitting, drinks holder etc etc. Then decide what is best suited to your needs. Both MSS and Safari Equip do good cubby boxes and there will be other makers out there as well. Brendan |
