Hi All
Just bought my first Defender (2009 90 SW, blue!) and pretty excited. I'm no mechanic but I'm looking forward to getting to understand and work on it's internals and could do with a good guide. I have found the Haynes manual for the 1983 - 2007 Defenders and what I want to know is if this would cover most of the standard stuff like headlamps, doors and general engine stuff (I know the engine would be different, but...) http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/1844256030 Or would anything else be suitable? Thanks! |

Welcome! a pdf of the actual Land Rover Workshop Manual is widely available on t'internet...It's all I use (in conjunction with guides off this site and others)... Other than this site (which is the best ![]() Also you can sometimes find stuff here http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=4731 If you need a copy of the LR manual, it's on dgardel's site http://landrover.livedrive.com/ There's lots of good guides and advice on this forum, if you can't find, just ask ![]() |

Hi Martin
Thanks for your help - I've downloaded the PDF workshop manual. Buster makes everything look simple too! |
