The entire journey and joy of ownership has been an 'enjoyable journey of education' for me? I had very limited knowledge of the 'mechanics' or idiosyncrasies of Defender ownership. With the correct approach no problems are insurmountable and there are many other owners wishing to share experiences and offer assistance and advice free of charge. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

We have a RAV4 D4D as well as the defender TD5 and i can honestls say that the RAV has cost more in servicing, maintenance, tyres etc than the Defender has in the 6 years we have owned it despite only covering half the miles covered in the defender.
That is not to say the RAV is unreliable, quite the opposite but when it needs something like a clutch and dual mass flywheel replacing it can get very expensive. I,ll keep my defender thanks ! 2005 Td5 90 XS Steve |
