Hi,
see what I just found in a German forum, additional storage space in the front leg room. https://www.bioprojekt-offroad.de/offroad/...kisten.php Hidden forever may be active subwoofers, amplifiers, inverters and other things one needs but does not want to see them or have not really found space yet. What else people may want to hide in there? BR Oskar |

Good idea for anywhere higher up but the problem with mounting in the floor is water ingress through the door We have designed our Lokbox with that in mind and put a rubber seal around the opening ... ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() ![]() http://www.farrowsclassics.co.uk/fcxEXPEDITION-LOKBOX.html Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated ![]() |

Cool idea and good use of space. Would another option be to replace the whole floor section and make a bigger safe rather than having to cut out a hole IYSWIM ? 1999 Defender TD5 110

How water proof are yours? Will they survive actual wadeing?

Hi John, that would be another option - to be honest we've arrived at the size we manufacture so that it can be fitted in 'lesser' vehicles other than Defenders as well
![]() Hi Jeremy, we DO NOT certify it for wading use BUT I have seen these fitted in vehicles that have been wading with water across the floor and the contents have stayed bone dry ... |

Jeremy
I've already got one of these from Matt - supplied and installed. Very pleased. Not waded or kept fish in it though ![]() Tony |
