2007 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Stornoway Grey
ABS Warning light
Hi All, having had Discoveries and freelanders in the past I am now looking at getting an immaculate 2007 90 XS but I have a question before I commit. Is it normal for the ABS warning light to remain "on" after start but go out a few seconds after moving off; is this a fault? Very low mileage and full dealer history with last service 3 momths ago. Grateful for some advice from those of you with more defender time than me. Thanks

Yes.handbook states this. Pity that Land Rover don't tell there mechanics. Each time I go for a service I get an advisory about the ABS light and have to point out that the Defender ABS system activates at speeds over 5 kph, but they never seem to remember the next time I visit.
