Hi All,
I am preparing to take my 90 out for it's first trip next weekend. There should be some water crossings, and I need some tips on sealing the compartments under the seats, and what else should be sealed on the 90. Please can you give me your experiences? Thanks, Pierre |

Water and mud can get in the cut out in the clutch housing where the ckp sensor is just under the exhaust manifold. It has a heat shield over it but that wont stop too much from getting in. I found the hole after getting my Puma back after a clutch replacement and checked things out to find that the heat shield was left off hanging on the cabling to the CKP sensor. You can see the flywheel through the hole. Not sure if it can be sealed.

Rob, Thanks for the tip. That is definitely the long term solution. If I get a Mulgo, I will weigh it up and get a quote to ship to RSA, and will let you know. Otherwise, if I have family come over, and it is not too awkward or heavy they can take one back for you.
Skollar, I am having my de-cat pipe and silencer replacement pipe fitted in the next week. I will have a look. If anyone else has experience with this I would like to hear from them as well. Thanks, Pierre |
