I’m fifty-fifteen.
I was once in a bar where the musical “entertainment” was a trio including a krinkly drummer. Pretty dire, and in their break I intimated at such. He replied: “I know, but I’m 85 and you wouldn’t believe how much fanny these gigs get me”. And when I placed a Notice in the local paper announcing the funeral of my widowed 85-year-old father, I got a ’phone call from his secret “friend” asking if she could attend (the poor old dear was obviously very upset and was made to feel very welcome, the mystery was why my Dad had never told me about her - perhaps it was just something he could keep private?). So I’m hoping I’ve got another twenty years’ sh….gging in me! Peter |

I'm the same age as Jeremy (so he tells me) but I feel like a 5 year old on the inside.

Fifty earlier this year. The Defender was a birthday present to myself, pity it arrived two months too late!
Cheers! |
