Glue
very frustrated. i have now stuck on the underbonnet NK kit twice.

1st attempt - degreased using detergent and a wipe with meths then stuck on using NK sticky surface. fell off
2nd attempt - degreased using brake cleaner and then use a spray can of glue to stick on. fell off again.

Now thinking about obscure swear words and using rivets Shocked

any ideas BM52

Had the same problem. Thought about using a piece of wire as in Range Rover Classic.

What type of spray glue are you using I have found big differences between them.

Serves you right, Evostick sprayon!

Try something sillygoon based such as No Nails or one of the builders merchants ones, I tried a clear one from Wicks for various jobs, including ceramic to ceramic, metal to plaster etc. He who dies with the most toys wins Smile

Know what you mean - mine is currently in the garage after falling off for the third or fourth time. Last time glue literally melted and the cover dropped on me whilst checking fluids in Morocco Sad Tony
