Thumbs Up Mr. Green Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades.
Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW.

[Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc]

Update.

Thanks again for the advice, very helpful.

@DaveW - I did attempt to drive the car without using the clutch, I admit I have never done it before but new how to ... long story short I couldn't get the car started once in gear, perhaps my battery was on its way out too?

Anyway I've got the car to a local garage and they have told me that a bearing on the clutch has gone so the whole clutch unit needs to be replaced ... total cost £670.00.

These guys an independent 4x4 specialist in North Yorkshire.

My first impressions were that the price was way too high, I told the manager what i thought and he immediately dropped the price to £500?! Which i think is still a bit on the high side, any thoughts?
