Have you adjusted/checked the striker plate and checked the rear hinges for security of attachment/worn pins. If you sit in the rear with a torch and the door shut you should be able to see what's going on with the striker plate.

Thankyou, the striker plate wasn't aligned properly. That was an easy job I managed to complete on my break in the college car park

I had this on mine when on the sliproad of the M6 travelling to Peterbrough last year
