Rear door opening while driving
Sometimes when driving my rear door will open itself, I check it before I drive every time and it never opens. I currently tie it shut with a piece of bungee cord but it would be nice to easily access the back once in a while. Anyone know what might cause this?

Have you adjusted/checked the striker plate and checked the rear hinges for security of attachment/worn pins. If you sit in the rear with a torch and the door shut you should be able to see what's going on with the striker plate.

Thankyou, the striker plate wasn't aligned properly. That was an easy job I managed to complete on my break in the college car park Laughing

I had this on mine when on the sliproad of the M6 travelling to Peterbrough last year Embarassed Rear door flew open and stuff everyhwere Big Cry An engine to TDi for!
