Suitable wheel/tyre option thats come up?
All, further to my what wheel and tyre thread..

Found some defender direct fit twisted peformance wheels 18" (black) with Mickey Thompson baja MTZ 305 / 60/18

A couple of things... I am not a big fan of black wheels and black car as its err too black! but what does everyone else think? or if they are a good deal, could i easily get them re powder coated in grey/anthracite?

Secondly.. thoughts on that tyre make and size? is that a bit too "low profile" for a lifted 90?
Those tyres seem to be pretty pricey new, but are they good all round?
Cheers

Nick

MTZ are quite aggressive. The tread will be nearly as deep as the profile Wink Good, hard wearing tyres though. The StZ is more a tyre I would expect to see on a fast road defender.
