Pom - we just hired a motorhome, and yes, they are expensive. There's lots about now - we hired one just a couple of weeks ago:
![]() Click image to enlarge Lovely inside, with fixed bed, shower, toilet etc: ![]() Click image to enlarge We're in discussions with a partner about setting a small motorhome rental company up. As you say, they can cost £800/week to rent at high season... If you do rent one...
Fixed bed is great If you are more than 2 people, may be worth checking there's enough seatbelted seats for all Fridge size can be limiting, ours was less than 70 litres, so not much room for beer AND food... ![]() MPG was better than the Defender! As you're going a long way, 6th gear and cruise would be good (just like defender ![]() With the Motorhome, you won't need to pay site fees, as you can fill with fresh water and empty the toilet quite easily, it's much more self-contained than a caravan...jut pull over, swivel the driver's seat into the back and make a cuppa ![]() |
