They sell something here called "Katzenmilch" (literally "catmilk") - I was wondering how you got it Shocked Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Installed some made in USA Trucklites (TL5's) on mine. About 1/4 the price of JW 7" rounds
We are Right hand drive here and our lights are supposed to dip to the left the same as you guys.
TruckLites dip straight ahead (which is why the Harley Davidson guys love them - Motorbikes dip straight ahead)

Have had for a month or so now & very happy - yet to have anyone flash me for being too bright.
and not dipping left is no issue at all.

For my taste, the Speakers look too arachnid (spiders have 8 eyes). I prefer the more insectoid Ring Automotive LED lamps http://www.ringautomotive.co.uk/product_detail.asp?prod=2617, thoug Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender

Just an FYI, LED headlamp units are just as illegal as HID lamps in uk if not fitted with self levelling and washers.

I'm sure Tim will clear this up but as I understand it the Speaker headlamps are e marked so they are classed as a replacement lamp unit.

As a site sponsor is this classed as a customer asking a question? Whistle

The ECE J W Speaker lamps are and always have been 100% legal when retrofitted into a Defender any where pretty much outside of the Americas.

As others have commented this has been covered many times, the shortest answer I could give is the VCA in Bristol granted the approval http://www.dft.gov.uk/vca/ and they are the people that decide these things.

Welcome to Def2 Thumbs Up
