I'd be up for that, in fact I've been trying to get a price out of him for the past 2 weeks, business must be very good for him to ignore potential customers. |

Expensive yes but it's complete kits and also will last for a very long time indeed. No Guts, No Glory.

Don't kick me too hard lads. Life is very busy at the moment so it can be hard keeping up with all enquiries.
Have asked Barbara to put the stainless screw sets on the website, but she does have a day job as well. Please bear with her Nakatanenga Stainless screw sets, the screws have the same heads as the original screws on the Defender!. With these sets, all externally visible screws on the vehicle are high-quality, stainless steel V2A stainless steel screws. The side door and rear door hinge screws, and the screws on the body mount at the rear are made especially for Nakatanenga are now in the form of the original screws (Torx tool holder). Dependent on set, typically The screw sets are packaged clearly for each part of the vehicle in 10 bags: - Rear Door Hinge - body mount rear - grille - loading bar + reflectors - bonnet hinges - crossmember rear - Spare wheel - Eyebrows + fender covers - side door hinges - door sill inner + A-pillar + 2 buffer screws + a tube of anti-seize paste for the screws. VAST110 HT Stainless steel screw kit for Land Rover Defender 110 HT Approx 380 parts £85 VAST110SW Stainless steel screw kit for Land Rover Defender 110 SW / 110 CC / 130 CC Approx 430 parts £99 VAST90SW Stainless steel screw kit for Land Rover Defender 90 SW / HT 90/90 softtop Approx 380 parts £85 VAST2DR Stainless steel door hinge bolt kit for Land Rover Defender 110 HT/90 Complete screw set for 2 front doors and rear door, V2A stainless steel for Defender 110 HT/90, including Anti Seize Paste. £41 VAST4DR Stainless steel door hinge bolt kit for Land Rover Defender 110 SW/130CC Screws have identical heads as the original screws on the Defender! I'm not so sure it's a good idea to introduce a third metal (copper) when you're trying to prevent galvanic corrosion. I think most of these recommended pastes, including the ones which Entreq and Nak supply with their kits are ceramic based and are designed to try an isolate the parts from each other. The corrosion occurs when water gets between the two different metals (steel or ali and the stainless screws) and forms an electrolyte, which accelerates the corrosion process. Pete |
