12v timer for my webasto project
i need a timer to activate the fan on the 110 once the webasto has fired up.

when the webasto fires i want an adjustable timer so that after 5-10 mins the fan starts. it can stay on until the webasto shuts down.....just in case i don't use the vehicle or the RF is accidentally activated.

i've found this but i think its the wrong what round for what i require http://cpc.farnell.com/cebek/i-3/12v-adjustable-timer/dp/HK00447

Suggestions please.

looks ok ... but will 5amps be enough ?

have you thought about a hrw relay .. they have timers, i'm not sure if they are adjustable

why not find a webasto timer on the bay ?

BP- i think your getting confused with a timer to actuate the webasto itself. As for a hrw relay the front relays are 15 minutes i think. want an adjustable relay.

dargel- a Z has no facility as far as i can see. there are only 3 wires, pin 1 start pin 2 diagnostic and pin 6 fuel pump.

this is informative http://www.autoshop101.com/forms/hweb2.pdf idiots guide to relays

Sorted Thumbs Up Two of these in series will do it. first one set for 10 minutes after the webasto starts this in turn powers a second one to go off after 30.
